Facts About the Autocar DC-64R

The Autocar DC-64R conventional refuse truck made its debut on May 6, 2019.

  • First truck ever built to feature ultra-high-strength 160,000 PSI steel frame rails – significantly lighter which means significant weight savings which can increase effective payloads.
  • Totally upgraded electric system to resist the worst the garbage business can dish out.
  • Wrap around windshield for maximum visibility, 30 percent more than other conventional trucks.
  • Autocar partners with body companies to offer the Ultimate Power of One integration so the truck is ready to work the second it rolls off the line.

Autocar designed the DC-64R for operator comfort, including a seven-inch Smart Display, a curved rear windshield, and a tight turning radius for challenging routes.
